Not just for 5/10/15 mins.. It stays on constantly no matter what the temp of the engine is. When i unplug the connector, it obviously turns off. When i plug it back in its back on instantly. Also, when i disconnect the battery, and connect it back up.. it starts the fan straight back up..
1/27/2012 · If the pressure switch circuit is open, the fan stays on. If the DME, gets no signal that there is pressure in the line (where the switch is mounted), you get no cycling at the compressor. You will have to evac and recharge the system after.

2011 mini cooper clubman radiator fan constantly on. As soon as the car is started it goes on and will stay on until you take the relay out or the battery wears down. Replacing the theromstat (and its housing) didn’t resolve the problem.
